Nabendra Limbu
through his
exhibited
paintings seems
to be persuaded
by a vein-like
network of
nature. If one
little pipe gets
disconnected,
many
arrangements of
existence get
dismantled. This
is how you get
to learn its
importance. You
flow within
these veins
inorder to get
connected with
the surrounding
and because of
this you come to
know the wrold;
your world.The
more you
understand the
acceleration of
the flow of
emotion the more
the truth of
relationships
unfold and the
transcendation
of the self
materializes.
Here he shows
himself as an
idealist. This
idealism, Limbu
takes as a
feedback to
explain his
technical
methods .
There's a
practical aspect
not only on the
canvas but he
sees it in his
life aswell.
'Painting should
emanate from
your behaviour.
As a painter
it's very
important for me
to embody a mind
of an artist 24
hours a day. Its
is not enought
just in front of
the canvas'-
affrirms the
artist .
Consequently the
artist with all
his vivid
creative efforts
brings to the
canvas
authenticity:
simplicity
personified in
the forms
scenery & still
life in his
first solo
exhibition
entitled 'Rythmic
Existencial
Relationships'.
the square
coming out of
depictions in
Limbu's
paintings show
an intertwined
connection with
one another. The
artist's
approach not
only gives an
indepth insight
of the
relationships of
portrayed
objects but also
reveals
simplicity in
the process. He
presents a
technical
procedure which
brings out
philosophical
outlook.
The geometry of
nature
introduces its
theory & the
logic of
metamorphosis
takes its toll &
existence
therefore rushes
ahead.
Innovations of
Cezanne,
Picasso,
Mondrain come
through the
simplest
configuration of
systematic
modulation. The
evolution of
Limbu takes a
similar course,
so his painting
should be looked
upon the same
way as-well. But
it depends on
the artist to
decide what
extent should
the mathmatical
guidlines be
followed. Is it
systematic or
haphazardly
dramati, still
or moving, loud
or mute are the
questions of
which the artist
is searching
answers. And in
this quest,
Nabendra Libu
brings his heart
& mind together
to understand
the
relationshipsof
natural
existence living
or non-living!
Finaly he goes
within the
essence of
nature to
undrestand the
existential
phenomena in its
simplest
formation.
Limbu's artworks
were introduced
in the walls of
NAFA gallery
hall from 31st
Oct to 9th Nov.
